Description

This book is dedicated to a great writer and friend. Ciara Webb. She was such a great person, often pushing aside her troubles to help someone else in need. She often watched her feed and whenever she read a status about anyone suffering you heard that familiar “Chime,” indicating that you had an inbox message. She did not care who you were, she took time out to speak to you. Give you words of encouragement, telling you that everything will be ok. Making you laugh and most time causing you to spit out your food or drink because you made the mistake of drinking or eating while she cracked her jokes. She loved the Rock, The Homicide Hunter, and the WWE, and she made sure that everyone knew it. You would see her talking about her loves daily, all you had to do was look on her feed, or write a feed about it, and here she came with her two cents about it. Ciara dealt with a lot of heartache. She signed with a publisher that took all her hard work and never paid her for it. She was confined to a wheelchair often suffering from seizures. She lived off a small amount of money a month to feed herself, pay rent, pay for a nurse, and pay for her medication. Often sacrificing food for the other things, she may have needed. I had several conversations with her where she would cry and say, “I have done so much, why won’t he pay me? Hearing those words broke my heart. I offered on several occasions to send her money. But never once would she take it. Stating, “I didn’t work for you, I worked for him, and it was his responsibility to pay me not yours!” I sat back broken hearted because I understood exactly what she was going through. Ciara left my life for a few months not knowing whom to trust after she left the publisher that we were both signed to. However, one magical day she was heavy on my mind and she said that she was thinking about me also. We began to speak on a regular basis, and it felt like no time had elapsed. It felt like I had my mentor and sister back. If anyone knew her, you know exactly what I am talking about. We lost a special person, a sister, a great writer, and a true Gift from God.
